The Lamp for 15 GPM non-rack models (part number UVS RL-999) is part of the UV lamp Luminor range from Excalibur Water Systems, supplied and installed by MT Treatment across the Greater Toronto Area.
A UV lamp keeps glowing long after it stops disinfecting. Output falls below the effective dose at around 9,000 hours, which is why lamps are replaced annually whether or not they still light.
Handle the quartz sleeve with clean gloves. Fingerprints and mineral film both block UV and cut the delivered dose.
