About this part
The Sleeve for 8 & 15 GPM rack systems (part number UVS EXW-Q420) is part of the Quartz sleeve Luminor range from Excalibur Water Systems, supplied and installed by MT Treatment across the Greater Toronto Area.
A UV lamp keeps glowing long after it stops disinfecting. Output falls below the effective dose at around 9,000 hours, which is why lamps are replaced annually whether or not they still light.
Handle the quartz sleeve with clean gloves. Fingerprints and mineral film both block UV and cut the delivered dose.
Fits: Signature Series rack systems.
