The Cartridge Omnipure Alkaline Calcite/Corosex 2in x 10in (part number SMF K2551 BB2) is part of the Alkaline cartridge range from Excalibur Water Systems, supplied and installed by MT Treatment across the Greater Toronto Area.
This high alkalinity cartridge removes acidity from your reverse osmosis drinking water by raising the PH from 4.5 to neutral.
Calcite is a crushed and screened white marble media, which can be used to neutralize acidic or low pH waters to a neutral, less corrosive effluent.
Corosex is a specially processed hard, bead-like magnesia adapted for use in filters to neutralize acidity by increasing the pH value.
Fits: EWR 5100EA, 7100P (Enalka stage).
